Modern Chalet
Built in 1974, this chalet style home was discovered by Kalina and Erik in 2018. Found in a time capsule-esque and mildewy state, the Kaths methodically brought the chalet back to a modern times. They removed old dusty carpet, decorations, and any non-usable furniture as well as cleaned the entire home with a vinegar solution and painted to brighten the space. The existing solid wood living room furniture was brought back to life with new upholstery. A “bonus room” above the attached garage which was previously used as a family room was the largest aspect to be renovated. The Kaths transformed the room into an amazingly bright primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom with an open concept.
