On the second floor of their Brooklyn townhouse, Kalina and Erik rehabilitated a dilapidated floor-through apartment. The classic layout was kept as well as trim details and doors through-out. They were lucky to discover 100 year old beautiful floors under the 30 year old carpet. A simple refinishing of the floors and painting through-out, transformed most of the apartment on a budget. The kitchen was partially renovated while the bathroom was a full gut renovation. The apartment has amazing light from the both the North and South - it’s a truly inspiring space to focus on living.
